Recent decisions and discussion in regards
to axles and their strength has prompted some investigation and produced a strength test
on a 2mm wall thickness of a 1040 grade steel tube axle and that of a 6061- 40mm -8mm wall
thickness aluminum axle - the results indicate the comparison to each other and the weaker
of the two .. pictures attached are compliments of Zedtec Engineering Toowoomba Drawing
